Marc-145 Cell Culture Medium

Marc-145 cells are derived from embryonic kidney cells of the African green monkey. Due to their high susceptibility to porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome virus (PRRSV), they are widely applied in virus culture and vaccine production. JSBio has developed the AM LSM 598 low-serum medium for Marc-145 cells. This medium reduces serum supplementation to below 5% while maintaining rapid cell growth and high viral production titers.
