MDBK Cell Culture Medium

MDBK cells are derived from the kidneys of adult cattle and are used in virology, cell biology, and animal vaccine research. They are commonly employed in the production of veterinary vaccines such as bovine infectious rhinotracheitis virus and bovine viral diarrhea virus. JSBio has suspension-adapted MDBK cells and developed a corresponding serum-free culture medium—CD MDBK 211. This medium supports high-density suspension culture of MDBK cells and enables high-titer virus production.
