Trans CHO Kit Plus

Trans CHO Kit Plus is an upgraded transient expression system. Its basal and feed media are chemically defined and free of serum, hydrolysates, or animal-derived components. The system delivers high transfection rates and protein yields, is compatible with multiple CHO cell lines, requires no incubation step, and supports automated workflows.

Case Studies

Case 1: mAb Expression in CHO-K1 with a Simple Process

Cells were seeded at 2 × 10⁶ cells/mL one day before transfection and reached 6 × 10⁶ cells/mL on the day of transfection; plasmid concentration was adjusted to 3 µg/mL.

Figure 1. Antibody titer over 7 days in CHO-K1 cells using Trans CHO Kit Plus versus control under a simple process.

Trans CHO Kit Plus delivered significantly higher expres-sion over the 7-day culture, with a 30% improvement in expression level. Titer exceeded 1000 mg/L on Day 5, demonstrating superior transient transfection efficiency and productivity.

Case 2: mAb Expression in CHO-K1 with a Simple Process

Cell density was adjusted to 6 × 10⁶ cells/mL on the day of transfection, and the culture was fed 2–3 times during cultivation.

Figure 2. Antibody titer over 11 days in CHO-K1 cells using Trans CHO Kit Plus versus control under a simple process.

Over the 11-day culture, Trans CHO Kit Plus maintained significantly higher expression than the control, reaching 3500 mg/L on Day 11 and delivering approximately 40% higher productivity, demonstrating superior transient transfection efficiency and product yield.

Case 3: mAb Expression in CHO-K1 with a High-Density Process

Cells were seeded at 3 × 10⁶ cells/mL one day before transfection and reached 9 × 10⁶ cells/mL on the day of transfection; plasmid concen-tration was adjusted to 3 µg/mL.

Figure 3. Antibody titer over 7 days in CHO-K1 cells using Trans CHO Kit Plus versus control under a high-density process.

Trans CHO Kit Plus showed significantly higher expression on Days 3, 5, and 7, with a 30% improvement in expression level. Titer exceeded 2200 mg/L on Day 7, demonstrating superior transient transfection efficiency and productivity.

Case 4: mAb Expression in CHO-K1 with a High-Density Process

Cell density was adjusted to 9 × 10⁶ cells/mL on the day of transfection, and the culture was fed 2–3 times during cultivation.

Figure 4. Antibody titer over 11 days in CHO-K1 cells using Trans CHO Kit Plus versus control under a high-density process.

Across the full 11-day culture, Trans CHO Kit Plus maintained significantly higher expression than the control, reaching 4000 mg/L on Day 11 and delivering approximately 30% higher productivity, demonstrating superior transient transfection efficiency and product yield.
